Developer Camps (DevCamps for short) are free, fun, no-fluff events for developers, by developers. You learn from experts in a low-key, interactive way and then get hands-on time to apply what you’ve learned.

How much does it cost to attend a Windows 8 Developer Camp?

The camps are free. You need to pay for your own travel and expenses to attend and bring a laptop if you’d like to do the labs (you’ll want to do the labs!), but attendance is free.

What do I need to do to prepare for attending a Windows 8 Developer Camp?

You’ll need to register to attend a camp. You can find an event and register on If you’d like to do the labs or build at app at camp you’ll need to bring a laptop configured with all the tools and hands on labs content. What's Great in this Windows 8 Developer Camp?

First the camp is free, and we want to create a creativity inside of this event, so you can build your own apps with our 50 ready to use template and create as many apps as you want. Submit it using ours/yours Windows Store account. As an appreciation we will give you a great award if your campus can beat 50 apps challanges*

How long i can build and finish my application ?

We know that a good app is not build in a night, so you still have 7 days (or more) to build and finish your application. After finish your app, please submit your application or application url links to Microsoft Innovation Center Care Services ([email protected]) or directly to your campus representative ( we will tell you at the event on that campus). After 7 days, Microsoft Indonesia DPE will recall you in events submission in the same place at you join the events. We will contact you by SMS and email when you are invited. The winner will be announced at the that event.
