Road to MIEE is a workshop that was held to welcome the big event of Microsoft Education, namely the selection of the talents of Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. The event was organized by the Microsoft Innovation Center in Yogyakarta, on October 10, 2014, in the E-Library of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada.

In this event, as many as 30 teachers from Yogyakarta and Central Java gather together to discuss about the strategy of making instructional videos that will be sent to Microsoft Educator Network. Video learning is a major requirement for prospective MIE Expert.

Material submitted by the MIC team Yogyakarta in this workshop are:

• Introduction to Microsoft Education Network and Program Expert Microsoft Innovative Educator.
• Introduction to Learning Suite as a tool in making instructional videos.
• Instructions uploading instructional videos and how to sign up to the race MIEE.

Participants were given one week to make a video learning independently. During the time of manufacture, engineering advice MIC Yogyakarta done via their email. In a pre-determined deadline, collected more than 50 learning activity videos that have now been uploaded to Microsoft Educator Network.
