Cloud computing technology has become an important part of information and communication technology needs in various sectors. Starting from the business sector to productivity, the SME sector for capital cost reduction, to the education sector for research and development. MIC Yogyakarta cooperate with Universitas Gadjah Mada held a discussion session that discusses the various updates of cloud computing technology, particularly in the Azure platform.

A total of 30 participants (IT Pro) from various organizations joined in this event. Workshop held on October 17, 2014 was held in the Lab. Computer Networks, Faculty of Electrical Engineering UGM. Each participant practiced directly to new innovations and services available through the Microsoft Azure.

In this AzureCamp delivered some of the following materials:

• PaaS / Networking and IaaS
• Web, Media and Identity & Access Management
• Integration and Hybrid workloads
• Big Data

Discussions were recorded in this workshop exciting, because each has a unique model oragansiasi and presented different problems. Hopefully events like this can give an idea for the optimization of IT resources that exist within the Microsoft partner organizations, especially in Yogyakarta.
