Creating a startup is easy, however the challenge is how to survive. Community VSID held series activities to prepare yourself to develop startup ranging from small and measurable. With development of Microsoft technology, Microsoft Innovation Center invited participants to understand the twists and turns in the development of Star Up.

This event was held on October 21, 2016 at E-Library, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gajah Mada and it was Attended by 30 of participants. To discuss deeper about the startup and its development, this event invited speakers such as Ridi Ferdiana (Microsoft MVP), Randi Eka Yonida as Startup observer and editor in social Daily social. Besides, another speaker is Vina Sectiana as Creative Specialist at Microsoft Innovation Center.

To learn more about startup and its development, this event contained the following agenda: (1) Startup Scape invited the participants to understand several stories about startup success. (2) Finding a Problem. In this section the speaker tried to accommodate several problems that emerged relating their startup. Based on these problems, the speaker opened such discussion among the participants to solve that problems. Then, the speaker chose one problem that can be solved by using Microsoft Solution Framework. (3) Competition Analysis. Every startup has competitors surely. However, the speaker tried to convince them that they can treat competitors as an indicator to be succeed. (4) Requirement Analysis. It contained how to build a sufficient product to solve. (5) Building the First Product. This session boosted the participant to understand how Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management Help.

Finally, after joining this mini workshop session that covered about Startup, it is hoped that the participants could build their startup using those advices and steps that was delivered by speaker. Besides, the can also expand their startup with the use of Microsoft solutions framework, indeed.
