In this quarter (Q1), MIC organized an online workshop called Cloud Computing for Higher Ed. In the first session, the topic discussed was Azure Fundamental Workshop for Higher Ed which was hosted by Agus Suparno and Erick Kurniawan as the Most Valuable Professional in Indonesia. The workshop was held on 15 September 2020, followed by 22 participants with backgrounds as a government official and non-government official. While in the second workshop session, the topic discussed was Azure Designing for Academic Infrastructure. The second session was held on September 22, 2020, which was attended by 53 participants with backgrounds as a government official and non-government official. The material was presented by Ridi Ferdiana and Agus Suparno as Microsoft Most Valuable Professional. Video footage from this second session workshop can be accessed here.

Then, the third session of major topics discussed was Designing Virtual Labs with Azure, held on 28 September 2020, followed by 31 participants with backgrounds as a government official and non-government official. The material in the third session was delivered by Ridi Ferdiana and Erick Kurniawan. Video footage from this third session workshop can be accessed here. After participating in the entire series of activities, participants are expected to be able and can be encouraged to implement virtual labs in their institutional environment by utilizing Microsoft Azure, so that students in college can conduct practical lectures by utilizing virtual labs as new environments that are worth considering.
