On 14-16 January 2016, Microsoft Indonesia and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) Indonesia, Yogyakarta MIC participated in education fairs held at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta. Some Microsoft educational innovations were also presented in the exhibition, which was attended by teachers from various regions in Indonesia.
In the exhibition, MIC Yogyakarta concerned with the socialization on the use of Office 365 for ease of administration and teacher, including showing off a prototype report card online (e-report) that was also developed on the platform of Office 365. The latest e-learning system developed MIC Yogyakarta, named MariBelajar, and were also on display, as one of the references of teachers in implementing distance education solutions.
Not only that, MIC also explained on Microsoft's roadmap international certification which is expected to be an option, especially for Vocational High School, in improving the competence of graduates. The participants were quite enthusiastic attending the Microsoft booth in the session.
Hopefully, with the introduction of the various Microsoft products, it can be one of the capital of innovation that can be promoted in schools in Indonesia. It is because in the 21st century, modernizing ways of teaching and learning in the school became an important part to enhance the competitiveness of learners.
