In a series workshop in Technology at Balai Teknologi Komunikasi Pendidikan (BTKP) Yogyakarta, Microsoft Innovation Center had an opportunity to be trainer at this occasion. This workshop was held simultaneously for a month at BTKP Yogyakarta and MIC participated for three consecutive days at this workshop. 

MIC participated in this workshop was starting from March 28, 2016 up to March 30, 2016. In the first and second batch, the participants were given material about Office 365 and its features. Then, in the third batch, participants were given materials about Office Mix. This Workshop was attended by 25 teachers from High School across Yogyakarta. 

In the first and second batch, the participants were taught on how to create group in Office 365. Once participant comprehend on the use office 365, they were invited to learn on how collaborate with OneDrive for Business. Additionally, the trainer from Microsoft Innovation Yogyakarta also provided training on how to create an interesting presentation for teaching and learning using Sway. The trainer tried to encourage the participants to more directly practice. At the last session of this workshop, the participants were also invited to learn about Microsoft Education portal. With this portal, the participants who are teachers can download a variety of teaching materials, educational software, sharing their knowledge through Skype, and even join in a community of teachers in the world.  

In the third batch, the participants were taught in different material from the previous workshop. In this occasion, the participants learned about preparing digital teaching materials that fit to teaching in 21st century. In this case, the participants were also given an overview on how to map their learning activities with Microsoft Software called Office Mix. At the beginning of this workshop, the trainer gave a general description on how to manufacture digital teaching materials and introduce the Office Mix. Besides, the participants were also taught about the steps in preparing their learning media. As in previous sessions, at this workshop the participants were invited to create a digital teaching materials by using Office Mix by directly practice about what has been explained by the trainer. 

After joining this workshop, the teachers are expected could feel the practically of technology in managing and give learning with the new way. It can be helped the teacher to create teaching and learning process with the use collaboration that is fit to teaching and learning in 21st century. In addition, with the features of Office 365 and Office Mix, it can provide convenience in updating and collaborating teaching materials for teachers.
