After passing a series stages of incubation and competition, Microsoft YouthSpark Edu Apps Hackathon finally has reached the main event, the final assessment for the educational game development competition. Microsoft YouthSpark event itself was divided into two main series of events: Microsoft YouthSpark Exhibition and Microsoft YouthSpark Live.

From a total of 64 groups that consist of 256 students who successfully passed the selection of ideas and participated in the competition game development. Finally, it has been selected 10 of the best prepared group present their work in Microsoft YouthSpark Exhibition. Microsoft YouthSpark Edu Apps Hackathon consisted of 1,000 students coming from junior high school, senior high school and vocational high school from various regions in Yogyakarta. This event was initiated by Microsoft in collaboration with YCAB Foundation, LABC and MIC Yogyakarta.

This event was held on June 14, 2016 that was located at the Cultural Center Building Koesnadi Hardja (PKKH), UGM. At this event, the participants who have passed the selection will feature their games apps and presenting in front of the judges. In choosing and selecting the best works in Microsoft YouthSpark Exhibition, the event organizer invited the judges from experts in the field. At the exhibition, the participants showed remarkable work in front of the judges. After passing a rigorous assessment, then selected three best works. Microsoft YouthSpark was won by SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta. The first runner up was coming to SMKN 2 Sewon and the second runner up was coming to SMAN 5 Depok.
