On the second day June 15, 2016, it was held YouthSpark Live as a follow up Microsoft YouthSpark exhibition. YouthSpark Live invited the participants from Computer Science, participants who joined Microsoft YouthSpark Exhibition and Microsoft Community. This event was held at University Club, Universitas Gajah Mada.

YouthSpark Live events engage young people to plan their future. Throughout this event, the young people can identify the skills they need to reach their goals, figure out how technology will accelerate them forward, and get connected program that will help them get there.

YouthSpark Live focuses on preparing young people to careers in Tech and creating their future with computer science. Computer science is the foundation for much of today’s innovation, and many new jobs are being created for people with skills in this field. It involves creatively, problem solving, programming, the internet, data, and thinking about the impact of technology in communities. Besides, YouthSpark Live also gave the information about how to create, build, and grow as a technopreneur. Beyond a great idea, starting and being successful running your own business requires specific skills and knowledge. Find the skills and resources that can help young people to run their business be more efficiently.

YouthSpark Live intends to provide a variety of information that was delivered directly by the experts. The speakers come from various parties such as governments, Microsoft, technopreneur, teacher and expert technology derived from YCAB. YouthSpark Live provided information on: how to use technology, how technology has been used in a variety of professions, how to manage the technology, how to create using the technology. YouthSpark Live also help the teachers’ promotor who had prepared an action plan for sharing to their mates. Those who attend YouthSpark Live will get the chance to work on their action plan at this event, with the support from Microsoft and community leaders. The participants will see what like-minded peers are striving towards and get feedback on their ideas. The participant can utilize the Action Plan and start planning for their future.
