Microsoft hack the Classroom is an online live free event for teachers in Indonesia are designed to provide insight into the latest developments in the world of education. Teachers will learn from Microsoft's innovative educational practitioners and educators on their way in transforming the use of technology in learning activities. This event was simultaneously held in four major cities in Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya. For Yogyakarta, the event was held in Balai Tekkomdik Hall and it started. This event was attended by 54 teachers either from Yogyakarta or from outside Yogyakarta.

This event was opened by several sources such as Paullina Pannen - Higher Education of Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Research and Technology of Indonesia. Second, Benny Kusuma from education Lead at Microsoft Indonesia. Third, Saara Suaib from Microsoft Innovative Educator and English Teacher at SMA Islam Al-Azhar 18.

HacktheClaroom is a series activities consisting of Talk show, Group Activities and Skype-a-Thon. In Talk Show session, the participants will be invited to discuss with educational practitioners and it followed by All participants in four major cities. Then, at the Group Activities the participants were divided into several groups. In this session, the participants learned from some of the Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts on how they transform the classroom, followed by group discussions with other ideas that can be developed further. The event was last closed with Skype-a-Thon in this session group where the best of each city featuring ideas and their experiences with participants in other cities to connect through Skype connection. In this session, participants responded to each other and got inspired to transform learning. By conducting this event, the participants be able to identify problems in learning. After identifying the problem, the participant must also be able to propose a solution that can be used to resolve these issues and how to implement it.
