Saturday (22/04) Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) Yogyakarta held Global Azure Bootcamp 2017. This is a simultaneous event conducted in several countries. In this event, MIC Yogyakarta brings a special theme about "Azure as Digital Transformation Platform to Preserve Tourism and Culture", this is in accordance with the position of Yogyakarta as a city of tourism closely with the culture. The event was followed by various circles, ranging from students, educators, developers and startup. Approximately 20 people attended the event at Jogja Digital Valley.

There are two speakers in this event, Dr. Ridi Ferdiana (Microsoft MVP for Visual Studio, Researcher, MIC Lead) and Erick Kurniawan (Microsoft MCP for Azure, Lecutrer). As for the event sessions, there are three agenda. Session 1 - Exploring Mobile Development, Session 2 - Starting Mobile Development, and Session 3 - Practical Mobile Development. In this event each participant gets access to Azure worth $ 100, it's expected to be used to practice what has been discussed in the talk show.
