Microsoft 365 comes with the flexibility and mobility that modern life demands. Microsoft 365 can help the user to collaborate more effectively. In the educational institution, this service can be leveraged to optimize their activities, such as learning process, administration activities, developing learning materials by the lecturer, creating document format for the research, etc. There are a lot of advantages that can be gained. Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) as one of the educational educations was subscribed to this service to give facility for their members. To optimize the socialization process, UMY was co-operated with MIC to socialize their facility to their members – where ask MIC acting as the facilitator for their event “Seminar - Microsoft 365 for Improving Productivity”.

The event was held in the first quarter (Q1) on 4 September 2019 at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta followed by 49 participants. Where the event was divided into two sessions. Participants were introduced about Microsoft 365 service in their college – where the participants can get Windows 10 Education and Office 365 Education for free. Specifically, participants for this event we are introducing in a glance at how to get Microsoft 365 and optimize the service for improving their productivity for becoming a member of UMY.

One of the topics that delivered in this event is OneDrive for Business – Where this service has a lot of space (1 TB) that can be used to save all their documents. Participants were interested in this service because of the features that it has, namely version history, sync, collaborate, and simple interface that can be understood easily even they were a new user. Participants were appreciating to this event – they get a lot of useful new information for supporting their activity.
